.SPECIFIC VEHICLE ALARM FITTING INSTRUCTIONS REV.00www.cobra.itXMAKESAABMOD.9.3YEAR98 → PETROLDIESELALARM/SIRENPosition the compact alarms and the sirens in the space between the battery and the wing.POSITIONTo pass the cables use the original rubber sleeve located near the support of the shock absorber, passenger’s side.POWER SUPPLY+ 30: connect to the 4 mm2 RED wire located in the wiring harness coming out of the black multiway connector in the fuse box.- 31: connect with a terminal to an original power supply located behind the left lateral bulkhead, driver’s side.IGNITION WIRE+ 15/54: connect to the 1,5 mm2 BLACK/GREEN wire located in the wiring harness coming out of the grey connector behind the left lateral bulkhead, driver’s side.DIRECTION INDICATORSConnect to the 1,5 mm2 GREEN/BLACK and GREY/BLACK wires located in the wiring harness coming out of the 4th connector starting from the bottom, behind the left lateral bulkhead, driver’s side.ELECTRIC WINDOWSPositive control signalFront window, driver’s side: cut the BLACK/WHITE wire located at the position nr.19.Front window, passenger’s side: cut the LIGHT BLUE/ WHITE wire located at the position nr.17.Rear window, passenger’s side: cut the GREEN/RED wire located at the position nr.14.Rear window, passenger’s side: cut the LIGHT BLUE/GREEN wire located at the position nr.2.These connections are made directly on the coming out of the respective original switches located in the central tunnel.CENTRAL DOORS LOCKINGNegative control signalConnect to the LIGHT BLUE/BROWN wire at the position nr.8 (unlock) and RED/VIOLET wire at the position nr.58 (lock) located in the wiring harness coming out of the connector of the doors central unit under the front seat, driver’s side.IMMOBILISATION POINTFuel pumpCut the YELLOW/GREY wire at the position nr.16 of the connector located under the driver’s seat.STARTER+50: Cut the YELLOW wire in the wiring harness coming out of the grey relè located on the relè holder plate under the dashboard, driver’s side.BONNET SWITCHInstall an additional switch on the headlamp support plate, near the original rubber trim of the bonnet, driver’s side.DOORS SWITCHConnect to the following wires using 4 diodes to separate the lines: GREY/GREEN at the position nr.61, BLACK/GREEN at the position nr.12, BLACK/GREEN at the position nr.60 and BLACK/GREEN located in the central line between the two GREEN/BLACK wires in the wiring harness coming out of the connector of the doors central unit under the driver’s seat.BOOT SWITCHConnect to the BLACK wire located near the GREEN/BLACK wire in the wiring harness coming out of the connector of the central unit under the driver’s seat.Note: This information is not binding, therefore it must be considered only an example for installation purposes that must be executed sa9.398gbb.docas per the instructions given on the product installation manual [ Pobierz całość w formacie PDF ]
